Mission |

The ILAVESNP organization is dedicated to promoting quality
vocational education programs for ALL students.
The Association is an assembly of individuals from diverse
professional backgrounds who want to ensure that the unique
needs of all populations receive the appropriate training and
education to meet the challenges of the workplace.
Members serve students with disabilities, limited English
proficiency, academic or economic disadvantages, and those who
are enrolled in nontraditional programs.

Goals |
|
Join the many professions who assist students throughout
Illinois in achieving the following goals:
- Serve as a uniform association for all personnel
interested in or responsible for the development and/or
operation of employment related education programs for
learners with special needs in the state of Illinois.
- Provide services to meet the needs of Association
members. Establish and foster communication between
providers of vocational education and support
services.
- Serve as a catalyst to promote continued program
development and improvement throughout Illinois.
- Facilitate special needs efforts with affiliated
organizations responsible for special needs students.
- Provide scholarship monies to Illinois special
populations' students to continue their post-secondary
education.
