 | Serve as a uniform
association for all personnel interested in or responsible for the
development and/or operation of employment related education programs for
learners with special needs in the state of Illinois. |

 | Provide services to meet
the needs of Association members. |

 | Establish and foster
communication between providers of vocational education and support
services. |

 | Serve as a catalyst to
promote continued program development and improvement throughout Illinois. |
|
 | Facilitate special needs
efforts with affiliated organizations responsible for special needs
students. |
|
 | Provide scholarship
monies to Illinois special populations' students to continue their
post-secondary education.
 | Four students were awarded a $500 scholarship
each for the 2006-2007 school year for their post-secondary education. The
recipients' home schools and areas of study are listed below:
