$500.00 ILAVESNP Scholarship
ILAVESNP scholarships will be awarded to students pursuing post-secondary education for a career in a vocational/technical area. High school graduates and current post-secondary students may be nominated. To qualify, a student must meet the criteria listed on the Verification Form. A completed Student Application Form and the Verification Form with an ILAVESNP member’s signature must be submitted in order for a student to be considered.

Student must be identified as
Special Needs/Special Populations by the definition of Carl D. Perkins
Act. |

Number of scholarships awarded
will be determined by the board and based on available funds each year. |

There may be secondary and
post-secondary scholarships awarded (post-secondary students must have earned
12 credit hours and be considered full time). |
|
Verification of enrollment must
be submitted before funds are sent (a letter from college certifying student
has been enrolled for four weeks). Upon receipt of verification the
scholarship payment will be sent to the student. |

Scholarship is not to hinder or
replace loan. |
|
Scholarship should not affect
financial aid. |
|
Deadline for nominations must
be returned by March 1st. |
|
Students must be nominated by an ILAVESNP member. |
