ILAVESNP was proud to present

During this presentation, we learned about the difficulties facing special education students in an inclusive classroom.  In addition, we received tools to help meet different student needs, acquire new classroom strategies, and build a network.

"Teaching the Low-Skilled Learner in the Regular Classroom"

During this great session, we discussed ways to manage the challenges of dealing with a wide variety of abilities and skills in a single classroom setting.

ILAVESNP was proud to present
"Getting past the ABC's to meet students' needs!"

This great session was presented by Karen Bourne, Karen Shaw, and Anita Moore.  Karen S. Bourne, B.S.Ed. has earned a Special Education degree from Eastern Illinois University with certifications in five separate areas and numerous hours of seminars, workshops and continuing education.  She has completed 29 years of teaching Special Education in public school systems.  Karen Shaw is an Instructor of Education, Social and Business Sciences.  Anita Moore is Director of Disability Support Services, Academic Support.

During this exciting session, we:
